Dual Eligibles

The term Dual Eligible refers to those who are eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid.

For example, those in a Medicare Savings Program are considered Dual Eligible because they are receiving their primary coverage through Medicare and then getting some form of financial assistance from their state Medicaid program.

For those people who meet the income limits to receive full Medicaid benefits, they are referred to as Full Benefit Dual Eligibles. Often times there are additional services and benefits they may qualify for at no cost to them through a Medicare Advantage plan. Some of these added benefits include Dental Coverage, Vision Services (including glasses or contact lenses), Hearing Services, Routine Transportation to and from a medical provider, and even a credit to order Over-the-Counter supplies from a catalog.

These plans are County specific so please contact us to see if you may qualify to receive these added benefits with no out-of-pocket costs.
